Cooked Monkfish Liver 鮟肝 / Ankimo
Ankimo refers to the liver of a Monkfish, and is often known to be the Foie Gras of the sea. It is a delicacy in Japan and is often served as an appetizer. These are pre-packed Ankimo that have been processed and steamed. In other words, ready to eat once thawed. We recommend thawing, and then heating it up using a torch for that extra char and caramelisation.
