Description

Karatsuki Hotate (ほたて貝), a type of Japanese scallop, have firm texture and has a natural sweetness. It is our personal favourite on the grill, and is often a crowd-pleaser at gatherings.

Pre-order – our cargo is flown in weekly. Do place your orders ahead of time to avoid disappointment. 

• Origin: various regions of Japan
• Size: 250 to 300g per pcs
• Ingredients: hotate (scallop)
• Storage: Best consumed on the same day. Store in the chiller with a wet cloth over it for next day consumption.
• Best season: Winter, Summer
• Suitable to be consumed raw as Sashimi
• Preparation methods: sashimi, grilling with a mirin-mix or butter
