Shishito Japanese Green Peppers

Shishito or Shishitōgarashi 獅子唐辛子, is best grilled over an open flame with salt, and maybe a dab of butter. It would fit right into a grilled vegetable salad, or as a side with perfectly done meats. If you’re a fan of the Izakaya experience, you are probably are no stranger to these green peppers, which is often served grilled in various kushiyaki options and are packed with flavour. Great as a finger food with some beer!
